From the new to the old we look after so many customers sewing machines, and whilst personally I have a fondness for Swiss built Berninas and Elnas from the 1960’s and 1970’s we also service and repair machines much older. This Singer 99k (above) is one of those machines I wish I had taken before photos of. …Grey and dusty with dried out wood. Nicotine stained and rusty chrome it really was in a sorry state. After a thourough strip down and clean, re oiling and tensions balancing she was teady to sew again! Machines like this were built to last! And at 102 years old she has a new lease of life!
